Ty Lee - Air Nomads

okay, so i have a theory. ty lee just never seemed fire nation to me. she is totally an air nomad. i have my reasons though: gray eyes and brown hair are air features rather that fire. her whole overall face is actually very similar to aangs. she is very spiritual with all her talk about auras and such. she has a carefree air nomad-esque attitude. with only a few minor changes and new color scheme, her outfit is air nomad. no one else in the fire nation had a braid like her. she said she ran away from home and want to be different than her family, acting like a fire nation citizen would work. and finally the big one: she can jump like 20 feet in the air! even in the avatar world non-benders can't do that.

so these are my crazy reasons and apparently there are other fanfics and stuff about this too. so, thats pretty cool that i'm not the only one.

this was really fun to draw (even thought i can't draw her face right to save my life!) the outfit is basically her pink one with a few minor changes: got rid of the subtle shoulder spikes, made the bottom of the pleates rounded, shorter pants layered hair and undone braid...and the necklace. the colors are based off of aangs outfit almost exactly.
